JOB seekers looking for a new role or their first step into the world of work can get help with an event being run by Malvern Hills District Council.
The job match event is being run in partnership with Malvern Job Centre and aims to help employers fill much needed gaps in their workforce while also helping people into employment.
To take part, people need to visit www.malverhills.gov.uk/skills, click on the job match event link and register their interest in one of the broad role types available.
A range of opportunities are on offer including front of house hospitality, financial administration, catering, software development and more.
They will then be sent specific details about the job available under that role type.
People then confirm which job they would like to apply for, and an interview slot will be offered.
Interviews take place on August 11 between 9am and 4pm but the last date for registering is 5pm on August 8.
Interviews may be face to face or virtual.
Cllr Daniel Walton, portfolio holder for economic development on Malvern Hills District Council, said: "We’re delighted to be working with Malvern Job Centre and employers to help promote the employment opportunities available which will support businesses to fill the gaps in their workforce as well as give people a chance to access work or training."
