OUR readers have chosen their 10 top takeaways in Malvern and now we want you to vote for the overall winner.
After our online poll, the top 10 have now been revealed. They are: Anupam, the Everest Eatery, Flute Signature, Hong Kong Chinese Takeaway, Hungs Kitchen, Kwai Authentic Foods, Mayflower, Vasai, Yates Hay Fish Bar and The Bear and Ragged Staff.
Andri runs the Yates Hay Fish Bar on Yates Hay Road, which is owned by her father Jim who has been serving fish and chips in Malvern for 30 years.
After being named in the top 10, Andri said: "Jim and his team are delighted to be in the top five takeaway establishments in Malvern.
“We have been serving our local community for over 30 years and pride ourselves on first class quality food and great customer service. We would be over the moon if we were voted best takeaway in Malvern.
“We are a family run business and we strive to give our best and we always make sure that everything is perfect for our customers.”
Qitong Hong runs the Kwai Cantonese takeaway in Malvern.
He said: “It’s a nice surprise to be voted into the top 10 and a pleasure, and if it’s possible it would be great to win but there are some great takeaways in Malvern.
“I would like to thank of all our customers, we are grateful for their support and we do our best to provide quality food for them.”
Raj Kunwar is the manager of the Nepalese restaurant The Everest Eatery on Malvern Road.
He said he was delighted to be voted into the top 10 best takeaways in town.
“We are very happy to be voted into the top 10, and it would mean a lot to us if we won," he said.
“As we are new to the area, in a short span of time I would say we have already built up our reputation, which is of course the result of the hard work of our entire team.
“We would also like to thank our customers and loyal newspaper who have always supported us.”
The Mayflower Chinese takeaway on Worcester Road and Hong Kong takeaway on Barnard's Green Road in Malvern have also been voted into the top 10.
