A PROUD mum is delighted her kids are doing their bit to help the community with litter.
Malvern Hills District Council launched its 'adopt a street Malvern Hills', encouraging the community to keep where they live looking clean and tidy.
Mum Katie Baker from Kempsey said: We’re just one family of many who already collect litter in the village, it’s another way to keep active as well as doing something useful.
“We joined the adopt a street campaign, through Malvern county council and received our free litter picking kit last week. Along with many others in the village we are working to make the village a cleaner place.
"It’s a great way to get active and do something worthwhile at the same time”
Five-year-old Oliver Baker said on why he does it: “To pick up the litter, so animals and wildlife don’t get hurt.”
