A MAN has been arrested and is being held in custody after shooting a gun in Worcestershire.
Police say Leonard Hodgkins, 44 used a gun to cause fear of violence.
Shots were heard near farm land in Overbury, Worcestershire yesterday.
A spokesman for West Mercia Police said: "A man has been charged for firearms offences in Worcestershire.
"At around 5pm, on Sunday 20 September, there were reports of shots being fired near farm land in Overbury.
"Leonard Hodgkins, aged 44, from Cheltenham, was yesterday (Thursday 8 October) charged with possession of a firearm with intent to cause fear of violence and possession of an air weapon when prohibited for life.
"He has been remanded in custody."
