A SPECIAL art exhibition is being held in Malvern throughout September in memory of a talented artist and craftswoman from the town who died last year.
Art work and craft pieces designed by Barbara Hutchinson are being exhibited and sold at Malvern Art Gallery with proceeds going to Cancer Research UK.
The exhibition is being run by members of the Malvern Hills Art and Craft Guild, of which Mrs Hutchinson was a member.
Running from 10am until 5pm, Monday to Saturday, it is hoped the exhibition will raise vital funds for the fight against cancer.
Mrs Hutchinson lived in Hanley Swan but was a member of the Gallery in Malvern for over 14 years.
She was 64 when she died of cancer in 2019 and it was her wish that her artwork should be sold to raise funds for Cancer Research.
Sue Wilkes, publicity officer said: "There will be a selection of Barbara's work including modern, abstract and more traditional paintings together with many pieces of jewellery including silver wirework bracelets and necklaces.
"All items will be for sale with the proceeds going to Cancer Research."
