A POPULAR festival will still go ahead this year, but will take place online.
Nozstock is one of the UK’s longest running festivals and the team at Rowden Paddocks Farm, Bromyard, have been working hard to create a one-day special event hosted entirely online: Nozstock The Hidden Valley @Home.
Family-run, very much home-made and proudly independent on a beautiful working farm set upon rolling hills, the Nosworthy family continue to curate one of the UK’s finest emporiums of music, arts, food and drink, with a huge focus on keeping all kids and families entertained.
Highlights from last year's festival included a DJ set from Rudimental, Soul II Soul and The Sleaford Mods, while the energetic and uplifting Oh My God! It’s The Church returned to the main Orchard stage for the third year running.
The performing arts festival also featured comedy from Reginald D Hunter, Phil Kay and MC Jayde Adams, who has featured on TV panel show 8 Out Of 10 Cats and has also hosted sold-out shows at Edinburgh Fringe.
This year, taking place on Saturday July 26 from 10am to 2am, there will be 16 whole hours of glorious Nozstock goodness - the virtual extravaganza will feature a range of artists from Nozstock past, present and future representing all the different genres the festival showcases, alongside theatrics, oddities and even some backstage secrets.
Now in its 22nd year, organisers continue to chart their own path, far away from commercialisation and following the flock, described as "gloriously eccentric and fiercely independent."
The full festival was due to take place between July 23-26.
