A WALKER has completed an epic journey - without travelling more than ten miles from home.
Julia Goodfellow-Smith from Malvern, had been planning to walk the South West Coast Path this summer to raise money and awareness for the Marine Conservation Society but Covid-19 lockdown put a stop to her plan.
Undeterred, Julia decided to complete the same distance (630 miles) and elevation gain (four times Mount Everest) by walking in and around, up, over and along the Malvern Hills close to her home, while dressed as a jellyfish.
Julia said: “Over the last few weeks, I have walked in glorious sunshine, howling winds and drenching rain. I have talked with all sorts of people about the work of the Marine Conservation Society.
"I am grateful for all the support and encouragement that people have given me, and for the generosity of more than a hundred people who have donated."
Julia’s journey has raised over £3,500 for the Marine Conservation Society.
