THE Cider Festival committee are delighted to announce that a profit of £2,000 was made during the day, to be shared equally between the parish hall refurbishment fund and Holy Trinity Church. In spite of the weather, this is £400 better than last year and they are most grateful for your support.
In excess of 300 people attended the festival. Photographs taken by Susan Morrell, who was in attendance during the day, will be available to order. She will be mounting a display of the photographs in the parish hall and the church shortly.
At the annual parish council meeting on May 10, four new parish councillors were co-opted. David West for Coddington, Patrick Whitehead, Robert Costello and Robert Turner for Bosbury.
