UPTON Blues Festival organisers hope to stage their best event to date after securing a double funding boost.
The festival has announced a major sponsorship deal with German boiler manufacturer Buderus, and also a £5,000 grant from Arts and Business.
Festival committee member Richard Tippin said the funding meant they had been able to spend considerably more booking bands and entertainment than in previous years.
"We can't really make the festival any bigger, simply because of Upton's size, but we've spent more on bands and are bringing in a host of workshops and masterclasses," he said.
The free festival takes place at venues across Upton from July 20-22.
