ABSTRACT landscapes by a Malvern artist are among exhibits on sale for the local Amnesty International group, during its annual art exhibition.
The exhibition opens tomorrow (Saturday) and runs at the Friends Meeting House, in Orchard Road, Malvern, until Monday, May 28.
It will feature around 80 examples of jewellery, craftwork and ceramics by artists from across the region.
Val Pitchford will display paintings, created at her Malvern Wells studio.
This will be her first time her work has been featured in a local exhibition.
"I've always had a soft spot for Amnesty International, so I'm delighted to have this opportunity to support it in this way," she said.
Val's work has been on show in London galleries and she sells mainly to private buyers in Britain and America.
The exhibition will be opened by Sir Michael Spicer MP at 11am tomorrow, and normal opening hours are 10am to 5pm, except Sunday mornings.
Spokesman Jim Clayton said the event, now in its sixth year, has always been very well supported.
