A MALVERN Theatre Players' production of The Twits brought panto-style audience participation to this Roald Dahl children's classic.
The Twits is typical Dahl, with its bizarre story and revolting characters. Mr and Mrs Twit have all the yucky habits that make adults squirm and children squeal with delight. They never wash, mix worms with spaghetti, put slimy frogs in each others beds and play lots of horrible tricks. All this was simply and wonderfully captured on stage by a cast of adults and children.
My seven-year-old thought the Mugglewump monkeys and their acrobatics were brilliant and was desperate to join in the climbing and the cartwheels The Twits continues until until Sunday (May 20). Tickets on 01684 892277.
