THOUSANDS lined the streets to enjoy a party atmosphere at the 15th annual Upton Folk Festival.
Visitors enjoyed a feast of live music, dancing, and brightly coloured costumes during the three-day festival over Bank Holiday weekend.
Some of the treats on offer included concerts from big-name artists and local acts, ceilidhs, street workshops, and the traditional morris parade, this year featuring a record-breaking 50 sides.
Festival spokesman Lisa Warburton said everyone was delighted with the event. "It all went really well, and the town was absolutely buzzing, especially by the waterfront".
"People were thanking us as they left, saying they would definitely come again next year, which is very heartening and makes all the hard work worthwhile."
Mrs Warburton said attention would now turn to making next year's event even bigger and better. "We'll look to have even more going on in the main venue, and hopefully we can have more happening on our new floating venue, The Conway Castle," she said.
