SO the people of Malvern have spoken and wisely decided they've had enough of the Liberal Democrats.
I, and I suspect many other people in Malvern, was enraged by the arbitrary way in which the Liberal Democrat caucus closed two public lavatories in Great Malvern, despite considerable public disquiet. Diane Rayner exhibited the same contempt for the views of the electorate that we have come to expect from Tony Blair. I wrote to both her and my two councillors expressing my concerns and not one of them had the courtesy to reply. The final straw for me was the 50% hike in the cost of a residents' parking clock.
Politicians ignore the people at their peril for there is always a day of reckoning and for the Liberal Democrats that day arrived last Thursday!
