I would like to thank everyone who helped to make May Day a great success last week.
With perfect weather, and a healthy section of the community in Priory Park, I believe that we demonstrated how these town centre events are essential for the wellbeing of Malvern. I would particularly like to thank all those members of Malvern Fringe Arts who voluntarily gave an 18-hour day to provide entertainment for us all, the police who helped to patrol the park, and MHDC licensing authorities, which smoothed the path to our use of the space.
We are all very much looking forward to the Elgar Festival (May 31- June 2) and subsequent events for the enjoyment of Malvern as a whole.
Tim Cranmore, chairman, Malvern Fringe Arts
