ON a walk from Malvern town centre one Saturday morning recently I saw people parking on the hill outside Henry's Cafe, thus creating chaos and a blocked road.
There were people parking outside Santander creating a bottleneck because they were too lazy to walk. There were people parking outside the Foley, thus obscuring the crossing.
An old fool in a green Jag ignored the crossing, nearly running myself and my wife down. Cars coming the other way had stopped!
A white van man had parked on corner by Brays half on the pavement with the rear end stuck out into the traffic. And a policewoman on the beat walked straight past!
This is Malvern – full of selfish Me, Me, Me types.
Bring back the traffic wardens – they'll make a killing!
