UPTON Rowing Club is looking for teams of four to compete in a special beginners event this summer.
There is still time to register for the club's second annual Pubs, Clubs and Firms Regatta, which is being held on Sunday, June 3.
The event will pitch beginner crews of four against each other in a series of races on the River Severn.
No experience is necessary, as crews will be taken on the river for around 10 practice sessions before the event.
On the big day itself, each crew will be coxed by an experienced club member.
The 350m sprint races will be followed by an evening barn dance, where trophies will be awarded to the winning crews. The Pepperpot Players, Upton Rugby Club and Malvern Hills District Council are among those who have expressed an interest in entering.
Entry forms are available at The King's Head and Ye Olde Anchor Inn, or at www.uptonrc.org.uk/Regatta.htm.
