MEMBERS of the Upton in Bloom group will carry out a litter pick in the town on Saturday (March 21).
The volunteers will take to the river on a boat to litter pick along the banks, as part of the national Keep Britain Tidy community clear up day.
The group are also calling on the people of Upton to help with the clearing up efforts.
Jackie Surtees, chairman of Upton in Bloom, said: “We would like to ask residents to litter pick in areas they think need clearing and if possible send us pictures of the litter they've collected.
"Alternatively, if they can't take pictures, they can let me know if they've left bags out so I can go and take pictures of the bags."
