LAST week, the Gazette reported how Malvern's flagship Morgan Motor Company had opened its first showroom in China.
Morgan, Britain’s oldest privately-held motor company, has been taking the name of Malvern around the world since it was founded 101 years ago.
H F S Morgan's first bars were three wheelers, that were known at the time as cyclecars, and the company still makes a three wheeler. However, unlike in years gone by, they are no longer considered motorcycles for tax purposes.
The distinctive sports cars are still handmade at the Malvern Link factory, where traditional woodworking techniques are combined with the latest automotive engineering and design thinking.
