THE Malvern Singers, musical director Edwina Ward and accompanist Ron Ward with their special guests, the Chase Jazz Band, invite you to an evening of American music and song.
Come along and listen to the lullabies, including Summertime by George Gershwin and Du Bose Heyward, Shenandoah (’Cross The Wide Missouri), a beautiful arrangement by Nancy Price and Don Besig, Close to You by Hal David and Burt Bacharach and Paul Simon’s Bridge Over Troubled Water.
This will be followed by a grand finale of American songs, so nothing could finer than to be at the Chase School Geraldine Road on Thursday at 7.30pm.
This year’s chosen charity is the Worcestershire Stroke Association. Tickets are £5 and available from choir members or on the door.
