CAR boots at the Welland Recreation Ground have started again for the 2013 season and are as follows:- June 30; July 14 and 21 and August 18.
Gates are open from 11am.
Please obey the Marshalls when parking and keep all thoroughfares open.
There will be cream teas served in St James Church, Welland.
These will be served from 3pm to 5pm.
This will continue for June, July and August.
Do call in and treat yourself.
On Saturday, July 6, Welland will be holding its Fete and Community Games.
There will be lots on offer for the whole community with a traditional village fete together with sports activity, girls football and childrens races kindly supported by the Hereford and Worcester Sports Partnership.
Activities will include tombola, bouncy castle, face painting, skittles, a coconut shy and tractor rides.
Entertainment will be provided by Upton Town Youth Brass Band, local teenage rock bands and Welland school.
There will also be a bar, a barbecue, teas and refreshments as well as a selection of stalls offering crafts, cakes, toys and bric-abrac.
To end the day there will be a closing ceremony where presentation of prizes and the raffle will take place.
In the event of inclement weather the fete will transfer to the village hall and the church.
