SEVERAL school records were broken at the Downs Malvern’s inter-house sports day.
Younger pupils ran in the morning and and enjoyed the egg and spoon and sack race while the older children had their track and field events after lunch.
Head Alastair Cook said it was one of the most enjoyable and well-organised sports days he could remember and gave credit to the children’s great determination and the staff who had worked so hard arranging the event.
Lewis house won the House Shield by a mere two points.
Fund-raising activities on the day went to Upton charity FunnyBlood.
