A WANTED Malvern man on the run from prison has been caught in Bromyard.
Jamie Cornes was released from jail on May 31 after serving part of a 30-month sentence for making threats to kill to an expartner.
He was due to serve the remainder of his sentence on licence, but it was revoked after he allegedly breached the terms of his release.
Police made a public appeal earlier this month after the 25- year-old went on the run and was believed to be associating with wanted Worcester man, Richard Jauncey, who was arrested last week.
But officers found him in Bromyard on Thursday (20) night, where he was arrested and taken into custody.
Detective Inspector Stuart Murphy said: “We appealed to the public as part of our attempts to find Jamie Cornes and Richard Jauncey, another man who was wanted for recall to prison and was believed to have been associating with Cornes.
“Both men have now been arrested and are in custody. We would to thank the public for their support.”
