MALVERN Town Football Club hope to play their first game in three weeks with a Worcestershire derby at Bewdley Town tomorrow (3pm).
Since beating Bartley Green 3-2 on January 12, they have seen West Midlands League Premier Division clashes with Sporting Khalsa, Wulfrunians and local rivals Bromyard Town postponed.
The mixture of snow, ice and heavy rain brought the league to a standstill with Malvern sitting 10th in the table.
But mid-table Bewdley Town hope to stage the latest league match at Ribbesford Meadows despite the ground’s riverside location.
Sixteenth-placed Bromyard have suffered similar problems since losing 3-2 at Wolverhampton Sporting Community on January 12.
They host Shawbury United in the league at Delahay Meadow tomorrow (3pm) before visiting Willenhall Town next Tuesday (7.45pm).
Teams were in the same boat in Division Two.
Malvern Town Reserves entertain Sikh Hunters tomorrow (2.30pm) and Malvern Rangers next Tuesday (7.45pm).
Rangers firstly have a rescheduled Worcestershire FA Junior Cup quarter-final at Bewdley Town Under 21s tomorrow (2.45pm).
