THE next meeting of the Colwall Village Society is on Monday at 7.30pm in the Colwall Village Hall.
This will be a talk by Mark Archer on the restoration of Perrycroft.
Perrycroft, on Jubilee Drive, was built in 1895 by the Arts-and-Crafts architect CFA Voysey.
Over the next 20 years Voysey went on to build many celebrated houses in London, the Lake District and the Home Counties.
Mark and Gillian Archer bought Perrycroft in 1999 and have spent the last 13 years lovingly restoring the house and garden using Voysey’s original plans, which are held at the RIBA.
All welcome. Non-members entrance fee £2. Tea and coffee will be served before the meeting from 7pm.
