TWO Malvern men have appeared in court as codefendants to deny public order offences in Worcester.
The defendants are both alleged to have been involved in a disturbance in Worcester on November 24 last year.
Roland Green, aged 26, of Pickersleigh Road, Malvern, denied use of threatening, abusive, insulting words or behaviour with intent to cause fear of or to provoke unlawful violence when he appeared before magistrates in Worcester on Tuesday, January 16.
Gavin Smith, aged 29, of Langland Avenue, Malvern denied obstructing a constable in the execution of his or her duty and using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour with intent to cause fear of or to provoke unlawful violence.
The court list describes Smith’s alleged public order offence as directed at security staff in McDonald’s in Worcester and police officers.
Both men were granted bail on condition they attend the next scheduled hearing at the same court on April 19.
