AN innovative company has scooped the support of local MP Harriett Baldwin after she visited its Malvern base.
The West Worcestershire MP visited The DooUp Company, based in Malvern Wells, to see its machine for helping to hygienically clear dog waste.
The machine, developed by brother-and-sister team Stuart and Helen Morris, was debuted at Crufts last year and has been attracting attention since.
Mrs Baldwin, who owns a miniature dachshund, was so impressed that she bought one.
She said: “Our local entrepreneurs are really something to be proud of and I am keen to promote as many as possible. This piece of kit will be very useful for dog owners with gardens but I can also foresee councils using it for public spaces.”
