THE charity Help for Heroes (H4H) is looking for volunteers to help it continue its work.
H4H was launched in 2007, to support those who had become wounded, injured or sick, both men, women and veterans, while in the service of our country.
Steve Parker, the charity’s regional co-ordinator, said: “In the five short years we have been operating, H4H has gone from strength to strength with the money we have managed to raise and the systems that we have been able to put in place.
“However, if we are going to be able to continue this level of support, we need to increase the amount of volunteers.
“They ensure as much of the money raised as possible goes directly to the the men and women of the armed forces.”
