A PHOTOGRAPHER from Malvern is in line for a top award in Scotland.
Pictures taken by Sue Dudley are shortlisted in no fewer than three categories in the Scottish Seabird Centre’s seventh annual Nature Photography Awards.
There were 437 entries across the six adult categories, plus 54 juniors, making this the highest number of entries received since the awards began.
Mrs Dudley’s pictures have been shortlisted in the environmental impact, creative visions of nature and world flora categories.
She said: “Photography is very important to me and when I saw details of the Nature Photography Awards I knew I had to enter.
“To be recognised by the judges is fantastic and I’m keeping my fingers crossed for the final decision.”
She added that she is a big admirer of one of the competition’s judges, award-winning nature photographer Laurie Campbell.
“I am particularly thrilled to have been shortlisted in a competition where he is one of the judges.”
