A NIGHT of legendary rock ‘n’ roll tunes will get an audience to shake, rattle and roll for a worthy cause.
The Pontiacs return to Worcester’s Huntingdon Hall on Saturday, January 26, having enjoyed a successful debut at the venue in October 2011.
Once again, the night, which gets under way at 8pm, is presented by John Banner Charity Promotions in aid of Help For Heroes. The Malvernbased band are made up of Dave Roberts on rhythm guitar and vocals, lead guitarist Rich Tandy, drummer Martin Lauricella and Stefan Sagopsowicz on bass.
They will be playing hits from the 50s and 60s such as All My Lovin’, Hippy Hippy Shake, Peggy Sue and Long Tall Sally.
As an added bonus on this occasion they will be throwing in a number of classics from the 70s, 80s and 90s to widen the appeal and spread the party mood.
John Banner will host the night himself and the dancefloor will be cleared of all chairs to encourage punters to get up and dance the night away.
Tickets are £14.50 (concessions £13.50).
