THE next Flicks in the Sticks, on Friday January 18, at Bosbury Parish Hall will be a feel good comedy The Angels Share (15).
Directed by Ken Loach, the film is about Robbie, who has always been in trouble with the law, but when he becomes a new dad, he vows to turn over a new leaf.
A visit to a whisky distillery, while on Community Service, inspires Robbie and his mates to seek a way out of their hopeless lives.
Tickets are £4.50 for adults, £2.50 for children. Doors open at 7.15pm for a 7.30pm start.
Bosbury’s next farmers’ market and coffee morning will be from 10.30am to noon on Saturday, January 19, at the parish hall. New stalls are always welcome, space permitting, but pre-booking is essential.
To take a stall, call Rhinedd Krinks (01531 640076) or Liz Clutterbuck (01531 640415).
