A MALVERN charity has raised £200 for Children in Need by playing board games throughout November.
The Association for Rehabilitation of Communication and Oral Skills (ARCOS), which operates a nationwide outreach service with a team of occupational and speech therapists, played the games at the MCA Card Shop in Hatherton Lodge, Avenue Road, in the town.
All prizes were donated by local traders.
ARCOS decided to support Children in Need after receiving a donation from the national children’s charity allowing them to provide a stay and play centre for children with disabilities.
The centre, to be called SMILE (Sensation and Movement Interactions for Life Experiences) will consist of a sensory and music room and aims to open early next year.
