THE Jubilee Christmas Fayre was a great success.
Organiser Marilyn Gilmore said that she was more than happy with the takings.
With the closure of the Farmers Arms, a New Year’s Party will take place instead at the Memorial Hall.
You will need to bring along a plate of eats, your own drinks, and a donation toward the upkeep of the Hall.

All newcomers to the village are invited to attend a welcome gathering at the Memorial Hall on Saturday, December 8, from 11am-noon. You will be made aware of the various village activities in which you might like to participate, and will meet some of the residents.
The garden club recently enjoyed the Christmas wreath-making demonstration by Simply Flowers last week.
May Cameron is still appealing for help in keeping the red telephone box clean and tidy. If you would like to take a turn once in a while, call May on 01531 633470.
