A SPECIAL presentation has been made to Colwall Parish Council celebrating it being awarded Quality Parish Council status.
The status is awarded to local bodies demonstrating they meet strict standards in areas such as the qualifications of the parish clerk, community engagement, the way accounts are kept and how meetings are run.
The presentation was made by the mayor of Ross-on-Wye, David Ravenscroft, a member of the Quality Parish Council Board assessment panel.
Karen Davis, Colwall’s parish clerk, said: “We are delighted to be recognised for our efforts in being a council which is well run, engaged and proactive with the people.”
