I HAVE lived in my house on the Acton Beauchamp Road for 18 years.
This year has seen more local flooding and impassable roads between here and Malvern than all of the previous 17 years put together.
Why I ask myself?
I have not seen the ‘gutter sucker’ truck emptying the drains for five years. It used to do so twice a year in the spring and more importantly the autumn. This is no longer the case and so the drains are blocked.
Time the council rethought it’s priorities because this chaos is costing the local economy a fortune and it can only get worse. Easy really.
