A SON kicked down his mother’s front door when he returned home to get clothes, a court heard.
Alex Griffiths left Gina Griffiths’ house on October 30 following an argument, but he caused £75 worth of damage when he forced his way in on November 5 to retrieve belongings, damaging a door frame and breaking a bolt.
Representing himself at Worcester Magistrates Court, the 20-year-old pleaded guilty to one charge of criminal damage.
He told magistrates: “I wish I hadn’t done it.”
They fined Griffiths, of High Street, Upton-upon- Severn, £75 and ordered him to pay £75 compensation to Nexus Housing, as well as £85 court costs and a £20 victim surcharge.
