THE Probus Club of Malvern recently welcomed Ron Gallivan who gave a first-rate powerpoint presentation on the Pegasus Bridge Operation at the beginning of D-Day 1944.
We shall shortly be enjoying our annual Christmas lunch at the Worcestershire Golf Club.
We are pleased to announce our new and stimulating programme for the first half of 2013. We meet at the Abbey Hotel on the first and third Monday mornings of each month (except January and bank holidays). Meetings begin at 10.30am. Each has a guest speaker.
In the current programme we shall welcome speakers presenting talks on a variety of subjects: Knights Templar (February 4), A Shackleton Odyssey (February 18), My Life on the Severn (March 4), Tuneful Tubes (March 18), The Silent Enemy Chernobyl (April 15), the Gloucester to Hereford Canal (May 20), Hot Air Ballooning (June 3) and Son of a Village Policeman (June 17).
