VISITORS to a National Trust estate near Bromyard will be taken back in time to experience Christmas as it was in the 15th century.
Tomorrow (Saturday) and Sunday guests at Brockhampton will enjoy song, dance and customs of the era, a service in its ruined chapel and lessons in customs of the time.
The event is followed by ‘Brockhampton by Candlelight’ on December 1, 2, 8 and 9, when the manor house will be bathed in candlelight and adorned with mediaeval decorations.
Visitor experience manager Alison Minshall said: “The manor at Brockhampton is truly unique and even more so at Christmas when its beginnings can be celebrated and brought to life.”
