ST James’ Church was almost full for the annual Remembrance Day service during which Colonel Ian Brazier gave a very moving address about Remembrance.
The short ceremony at the war memorial in the churchyard was followed by refreshments – which included slices of a large cake decorated with iced poppies. Everyone was then invited to go to the Royal British Legion Club for lunch.
Looking forward to next week, may I remind all cricketers that the AGM of West Malvern Cricket Club is on Friday, November 23, in the Armpit at the Brewer’s Arms; the meeting starts at 8.15pm.
