A TALENTED student from Malvern has been snapped up as a finalist for a competition.
Ashley Robins, who studies photography at Worcester College of Technology, has been shortlisted for the final of the Association of Colleges’ (AOC) Student Photographer of the Year Award 2012. The 19-yearold’s work was selected for the accolade from hundreds of entries.
The award, in its fourth year, celebrates the creative talent of college students and this year’s theme was about the typical daily life of a student.
Mr Robins said: “It is great to be recognised for something I enjoy doing, especially as I am such a critic of my own work!
My lecturer has been a great support throughout my course.”
The winner will be announced at the AOC conference and exhibition at the ICC in Birmingham during a gala dinner on Wednesday.
