THOMPSON (nee Applewhite) June Valerie Passed away peacefully at Queen's Hospital Burton upon Trent on April 25th, aged 82 years. Dearly loved Mum to Sue and Caz, treasured Nan to Lu and a lifelong friend to Sue Alkaissy. A devoted Wife to the late David and a special friend to the late Peter Rooke. She will be sadly missed by her Family and her many Friends. Funeral Friday, May 18th, Service 1.15 p.m., at St. John's Church, Horninglow, followed by Committal in the Carnarvon Chapel at Bretby Crematorium. No flowers by request please, donations in memory payable to 'Murray's Charity Account' (to be divided between Burton Queen's Hospital League of Friends and Cancer Research UK) may be sent c/o Murray's Funeral Directors, 23 York Street, Burton upon Trent DE14 2LX.
