LEDBURY Amateur Dramatic Society (LADS) will hold open auditions for their spring production Ding Dong next month.
Ding Dong is a modern French farce and has been scheduled for three performances between April 18 and 20, following a 10-week rehearsal period.
The piece was written by Marc Camoletti and has been translated and adapted for the English stage by Tudor Gates.
The play requires six actors, two males and four females, aged between 30 and 50.
A strong backstage team will also be required including wardrobe, stage management, set design and build, lighting and sound.
Director David Pollard said: “This is an ideal opportunity for anyone who has thought about getting involved with LADS, onstage or backstage, to jump in with both feet.”
A reading of the play will take place in the Market Theatre foyer at 7.30pm on Tuesday followed by open auditions at 7.30pm on Tuesday, December 11. If you are interested but cannot attend these dates, call David on 07807 093790 or e-mail DavidP@ themarkettheatre.com.
