DOCTOR Who's most terrifying enemy, a Dalek, is one of the top attractions when St Matthias Church holds its summer cafe and fete on Saturday, July 9, from noon to 4pm.
But the visiting Dalek can be controlled by you: you can climb inside and control its movements, its weapons and its voice.
As well as the alien visitor, there will be a bouncy castle, face-painting and a variety of stalls, including cakes, preserves, plants, books, CDs, white elephant, tombola and raffle.
Meanwhile, the cafe will serve hot and cold lunches from noon and cream teas from 3pm. The day will also include organ recitals, hand-bell ringing and singing by children from St Matthias School.
