CLASSIC Volkswagen campers were the stars of the show last weekend in Malvern.
Thousands of enthusiasts rolled into town as Vanfest - the largest such event in the world - returned to the Three Counties Showground.
The festival, which ran from Friday (September 10) until Sunday (September 12), has grown in stature over the past 16 years and now attracts an international audience proud to show off their iconic vehicles.
Popular events such as Show and Shine and Cooking in a Camper made a welcome return as did dozens of trade stands, displays and a dedicated field for those wishing to buy or sell one of the vintage vehicles.
Entertainment over the weekend ranged from two-tone ska, with Bad Manners, to stars from the X Factor and there was also the usual range of day-time attractions including a circus skills workshop and, of course, the chance to ogle some of the most outlandishly customised campers.
