A POSTER designed by a Chase pupil will be used to promote two events celebrating the life of Florence Nightingale.
Malvern Museum launched a poster competition for local secondary school pupils to produce a poster for the two events it has organised to commemorate the lady with the lamp's connections with Malvern.
The winner was Frances Hughes, whose entry was described as imaginatively capturing the many elements associated with Florence and Malvern's Water Cure.
The events are a dramatised lecture called Florence Nightingale the Respectable Rebel by Lucy Adlington of History Wardrobe, at Malvern Priory on August 13 at 7.30pm, and a talk supported by re-enactments on October 9 at the Coach House Theatre, Malvern.
