MEMBERS and friends of Malvern Spa Association celebrated the past year’s achievements at an annual dinner on Thursday, September 24.
Guests at the Wellington Inn, Chances Pitch, included the organisations patrons Lord and Lady Sandys, president Carly Tinkler and owners of the Holy Well, Mike and Marion Humm.
Chairman Dr John Harcup proposed a toast to the Queen in Holywell Spring Water, before Lord Sandys addressed the gathering making reference to the restoration work completed by the group.
He also praised the association for its future projects, particularly the analysis of present day spring water to compare with Dr Wall’s original findings.
Dr Harcup gave thanks to all the Well Dressers especially the small group that decorated the Clock Tower so successfully for the Malvern in Bloom competition, helping Malvern to win its Large Town Gold award in the national competition.
The evening was rounded off with Ray Roberts, MSA Secretary, giving a resume of the evening and thanking everybody for their attendance. Finally giving a toast to everybody involved in the MSA and Well Dressing.
