From a tribute act to one of the world's most beloved pop stars to tours of the town's renowned theatres, you should be so lucky if you are in Malvern this Easter weekend.

Fandangos

Starting with Fandangos, a five-piece rock band set to perform at the OCC on Friday (March 29) from 8.30pm.

SLAP magazine praised them as having a "great mix of blues, folk, rock and funk vibes", with a "powerful voice…reminiscent of Alison Moyet and Alannis Morrisette".

The band garnered a loyal following after a packed performance at Lakefest 2023 and have been featured on BBC Introducing.

Tickets are £5 in advance and £7.50 on the door.

Kylie Minogue Tribute Act

Revelling in the golden era of pop music is the Kylie Minogue tribute act, also set for Friday evening.

Taking place at the Mount Pleasant Hotel, attendees are promised a night of nostalgic tunes.

'Kylie' will perform all the 'Princess of Pop's' hits, from 'Can't Get You Out of My Head' to 'Spinning Around'.

The event description reads: "Whether you're a die-hard Kylie fan or simply looking for a fun night out, this event promises to deliver an energetic and electric atmosphere."

The Glass Menagerie

Those looking for a dramatic twist can find it as The Glass Menagerie resides at Malvern Theatres for a multi-night run.

Geraldine Somerville (Gosford Park, Harry Potter) stars in a rendition of Tennessee Williams’s semi-autobiographical piece, which explores the challenges faced by a family of three in a rapidly changing world they struggle to comprehend.

Theatre Tour

To round the week off, take part in a Theatre Tour exploring all the stages of Malvern Theatres on Sunday (March 31) at 12.30pm.

Priced at £15, the itinerary includes visiting the three auditoria; The Festival Theatre, Forum Theatre and Cinema and the brand new Studio One space.

The tour will also offer a chance to stand on the Festival Theatre stage, take a peek into the dressing rooms and learn about the history of the venue.
