MALVERN Town Council is asking residents to identify valuable green spaces and nature conservation.

The council is currently putting together a formal Neighbourhood Plan for the town and wants to draw on local knowledge as part of the process.

Among the the council wants to list in the plan and protect are local green and amenity spaces.

These areas must be special to a local community, and have particular significance, whether it is for beauty, historic significance, recreational value, tranquillity or richness of wildlife.

The council is also on the lookout for local nature conservation assets, which could include distinctive species and habitats, or geological features of value.

Anyone who wants to share information should contact Clare Lawrence at the council on 01684 566667 or clawrence@malvern by Wednesday, February 24.
