PUPILS from the Chase School did their bit from the community by handing over food parcels to residents of local housing for the elderly.
The Geraldine Court housing complex is just across the road from the school, and for several years, Form 10SV of the school has assembled food parcels each Christmas for the residents.
This year is no exception, and class members visited Geraldine Court this week to hand over 25 food parcels, and stayed to enjoy the residents' Christmas party.
Class teacher Zoe Sylvester said that as well as the food parcels, the pupils collected enough extra cans to make a substantial donation to Malvern Foodbank as well.
She said: "I think it's really important that young people have contact with the elderly and realise that they're part of the community. Geraldine Close is so close to the school, that it would be a real shame not to have links between them and us."
