WORK is being carried out this week to upgrade the TV transmitter mast on the side of North Hill.
Workmen arrived at the site above Worcester Road, Link Top, on Tuesday to replace the transmitter at the top of the tower.
A spokesman from communications infrastructure firm, Arqiva, which owns the transmitter, said: "The work taking place at the Malvern transmitter is to replace the UHF cylinder, which sits at the top of the tower. A temporary antenna is being installed while this takes place."
The work is not expected to cause any interruption to TV signals. The temporary antenna was put up to continue transmission while the main one is being worked on.
